Account Information

What if I forgot my password?

IntelliCorp InTouch provides a “forgot password” feature that you can use to reset your password at any time (as long as you remember the answers to your security questions).

How do I edit my user information on file?

Simply login to your InTouch account and modify your information.

How do I cancel my account?

There is no need to cancel your account since you are not billed unless you perform a search. Leaving your account open will allow you to make future purchases quicker and easier.

Billing

Who do I contact if I placed an order with IntelliCorp InTouch, but have a question about my charges?

If you have a question concerning your charges, please send an email to customerservice@intellicorpintouch.com.

How will your charges appear on my credit card statement?

Charges will appear on your statement as IntelliCorp InTouch.

Can I get a refund if I’m not happy with my results or do not receive any results on my subject?

No. Refunds are only available if there is a technical issue. It is our goal to provide you with the most accurate information possible. However, we are limited by the amount and accuracy of the information; both provided by you, and provided to us through public sources.

Privacy & Security

Is your website secure?

Protecting privacy is always a priority for IntelliCorp InTouch, and we have strict policies and procedures in place to protect all personal information. We have multiple levels of security, employ 128-bit SSL encryption when transmitting data over the internet, and have installed robust firewalls to prevent external “hacking” into our system.

Will you share my information?

We do not share your information with others unless it is a necessary component of conducting business (such as billing) or providing you with products and services. Service providers are only afforded access in order to perform their function and are not permitted to use or share the information for any other purpose. We reserve the right to disclose your information if necessary to: comply with a legal process, are required to do so by law, protect the rights or property of IntelliCorp (or its staff), will assist efforts to prevent/investigate illegal activities or the enforcement of this web site’s terms and conditions.

What are public records and publicly available information?

Public records and publicly available information refers to information that has been gathered, filed and recorded by a variety of sources which can include, but are not limited to: local, state or government agencies, phone listings, and court records.

How often are your records updated?

Information (such as criminal and public records) is updated as often as possible. Updates can occur at different intervals depending on the source.

What parts of the country can I search?

You can search anywhere in the United States, but information content and quality can vary from state to state, depending on the source. View a complete map of our coverage area.

Reports

What information do I need to run a background search on someone?

The basic information necessary is last name, first name and state. If you have a common name, you can enter additional search criteria to narrow down your results.

Can I print my report?

Yes. We encourage you to print your report as they are only available online for 60 days.

Can IntelliCorp InTouch help me understand my report?

We do our best to provide a clean and easy to read report for you. Unfortunately, we cannot try to interpret the information received from the hundreds of public data sources. If you have additional questions about a record (especially criminal records), we have provided a listing of courts that can assist you.

Why do I have so many results for my subject?

Due to the diversity and quality of public records, not all records have the information necessary to make an exact match on your subject – many contain only a name. If your subject has a common name, you could receive many records. IntelliCorp InTouch believes it is better to give too much information rather than not enough.

How long does it take to get a report?

All of our reports should return in less than a minute.
